Kevin Basl

Kevin Basl lives near Ithaca, New York, where he writes, records music, and enjoys the outdoors. He’s taught writing at Temple University, where he completed his MFA in fiction. He is the author of _Midnight Cargo_ (Illuminated Press, 2023), a collection of poems and stories inspired by his time serving in the US Army in the Iraq War and doing anti-war activism after returning home. He currently teaches creative writing with the nonprofit organizations Warrior Writers and Community Building Art Works.
