William Burtch is a writer of fiction and essays who started life in northwestern Pennsylvania. His short story collection, "Otherwise Wretched", is forthcoming from Sunbury Press. He is coauthor, with sibling Donna Burtch, of "W.G." (Sunbury Press), an award-winning biography of Civil War figure W.G. Raymond. William was a finalist for the American Fiction Short Story Award, appearing in American Fiction Volume 17 (New Rivers Press). Recent works appear in Great Lakes Review, Gone Lawn, Ruminate, Schuylkill Valley Journal, Northern Appalachia Review, and others. He lives in Columbus, Ohio. More at williamburtch.com
