Susan Ferrandiz is a Brooklyn, NY native and retired Professor Emerita from Slippery Rock University’s library department. She also worked for the Korean Ambassador to the United Nations, as a reference and media librarian for Brooklyn Public Library, and for Enoch Pratt Library in Baltimore where she wrote and received a federal grant to develop the Center for the Visually and Hearing Impaired. The Center at Enoch Pratt was among several US organizations that received recognition for doing outreach and working with disabled patrons from the US Department of Education. Her educational accomplishments include an undergraduate degree in history from Long Island University, a masters degree in history from SRU, a graduate degree in Library and Information Science from Pratt Institute, and classes in Korean history and language at Chung-ang University, Seoul, Korea
