Dr. Aspen Mock, ELA Educator and adjunct professor was featured in The Dramatist for 365 Women A Year. Her plays include Ultramarine Girl: A Cup Full of Courage and A Semblance of Hope, which have been staged to support charitable organizations. Her play Une Belle Fleur was performed as an audio play. She has directed/choreographed/acted in over 40 theatrical performances. She is a Keynote speaker & conference presenter. An accomplished blogger, she’s written for NatGeoEd, NCTE, KQED and PBS. Accolades include: Henry Ford Innovative Teacher of the Year, Pennsylvania TOY Finalist, YWCA Tribute to Women (Arts and Letters), UPJ Golgonooza Playwright Award, Governor’s Proclamation, & House of Representatives Citation. A two-time NatGeoEd grantee, she wrote a $30,000.00 grant supporting students to write/illustrate an original children’s book. She was a featured teacher-artist poet for the PA Humanities Rain Poetry Johnstown.
