Marjorie Maddox

Professor of English and Creative Writing at the Lock Haven campus of Commonwealth University, co-editor with Jerry Wemple of Common Wealth: Contemporary Poets on Pennsylvania (PSU Press, 2005) and the forthcoming Keystone: Contemporary Poets on Pennsylvania (2025), Marjorie Maddox also has published 20 books of her own work, including 14 poetry collections (most recently the ekphrastic collections In the Museum of My Daughter’s Mind with her daughter Anna Lee Hafer, and Heart Speaks, Is Spoken For with photographer and environmental activist Karen Elias), the short story collection, What She Was Saying, and 5 children’s books.
